Henry Akers line, new proposal
Posted by: Leland Garton (ID *****1628) Date: March 25, 2010 at 14:13:49

We have been working for years on Henry Akers d. Ca. line. Cousin Donna M. Hull discovered he had two known brothers, William(married Perdelia Pittman) and John (married Martha "Patsy" McGuire). Since, I have discovered that John was John Smith Akers, Sr. with a son John Smith Akers, Jr. Also, brother William named a son William Alburtis Akers as did Henry who also named a son John Smith Akers (my gr. grandfather). So, here is my proposed line to Henry and his brothers. Note. My father, Wm.Smith Garton said we were Smith descendants and the family was "inordinately" proud of the Smith family.
