I'm trying to identify the family of Turner A. Akers, born in Virginia in 1862 and died in California in 1942. In 1885 he married Carrie E. Lott in Seneca Co., OH. In 1900 they lived in Ohio, in 1910 they lived in Las Vegas, NM, in 1920 they lived in Phoenix, AZ, and in 1930 the widowed Turner lived in Fullerton, CA with a son and two unmarried daughters. I've never been able to find him in a census before 1900. Turner and Carrie had six children: Marian (died as an infant), Edgar Hulick, Florence H., Marjorie C., Henry A., and Dorothy M. Edgar and Henry married and both died in California. Marjorie and Dorothy never married and died in California. Florence married in Arizona and probably died in California in the 1930s. I'd really like to identify Turner's parents, so if anyone recognizes any of these names, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks.
