What i know for sure. My dad was born in Nashville Ten and named Robert Lee Akers ab.06/13/1927. The name my grandmother used for a maiden name is Hazel Lifsey. I know she was a (Callison)from Ky. maybe adopted by the Lifseys'? She was 17 years old. The name on the birth record for my grandfather is Robert Lee Akers, age 22, born in Tenn. and working for the Highway Dept. The name that my dad told me was his dads name was Rufus. Not sure were that comes from. Maybe there was no marriage. Can someone help me fill this blank in my past?
