I am researching Jacob Akerman and Christiana Smiley Akerman. Jacob died in 1820 in Edgefield District, SC. The estate was settled in 1826. There were 4 daughters born to this marriage, Estate settlement only listed names of daughters husband and wife. "For example James Holladay and wife"
I am descendant of James Holladay, therefore i know he married Catherine and their youngest son was John Smiley Holladay.
Catherine married to James Holladay
_________ married to John Briscoe/Briskey
_________ married to Moses Smith
_________ married to John Norris
we believe there were children from another marriage.
I am wondering if you have any connection to this family.
We dont know where Jacob was born or when
Thanks for any help
Betty
