She was 16 at the time. They emigrated to Otago (New Zealand) in 1855 and settled at Tokomairiro. The name of their farm, Helensbrook, has continued to this day, although not now in the family. I have some info on their children if you wish. I would love to learn more of Anne's ancestry!
