I am trying to find information on my gg-grandparents, William and Martha Jackson of Wythe Co, VA. On the birth record for their son Hickory Jackson in 1872, it states that the information was provided by his grandmother, Martha Aker. I assume this means that Martha Jr. was an Aker before marrying William Jackson. According to census records I believe that William Jackson was born about 1840 and his wife Martha was born about 1844. Does anyone know anything about this family?
