Charles FARRER (1857-?1920) was the eldest son of Thomas Charles FARRER & Anne Richards McLANE (1836-1933) who was the daughter of James W McLANE and Anne Huntington RICHARDS, he was born in New York, but was taken to England by his parents. At the age of 17 he emigrated to Maryland, and then to the ‘wild west’ of Colorado. When gold was discovered in the Yukon c1897/8 he joined the rush and was last heard in Alaska. It was indicated that he had a daughter, and grand children, Richard, Florence, Venita
