I went to school with a Mark Boring from Cordova in the middle 1960s. It was junior high school in Juneau. His father was a State Legistlator and I think was also involved in banking. I have not seen the Boring name in the Cordova phone book,so the family may have move on to somewhere else. Cordova was entry point for access to the copper mine in the Kennicott area, about 100 miles up the Copper River and Chitina River.
