The statue of the dog Patsy is not the dog that survived the sinking of the S.S. Princess Sophia. Patsy was a stray that was hard of hearing and somehow she knew when a ship was to arrive in Juneau. She met all the ships that arrived. I believe she died in 1936 of old age.
