Looking for any info on Cosmos Poorman b- 10-14-1850 Lebanon County,Pa.Left Pennsylvania in Jan. 1884 and was headed to Alaska for the gold rush. After many years of no contact with his family back home,Cosmos was declared dead in 1904,Lebanon Co.court,Pa so his two grown sons could collect a small inhertance after Cosmos's parents died.When Cosmos left Pa ,he left behind his two small sons (John Cosmos, and William Stuckey)in his parents care.Cosmos's wife(Emma Stuckey) was killed at age 24 in 1878 from a fall from a hay rake while pregnant with their third child.Cosmos was said to have made stops in Kansas,Missouri(with Shifler family), and California before going to Alaska.
