The Web site for the Valdez Museum shows that a J. E. Grady, was with Hazelet party, 1900; Hazelet Diary 2/2/1900; possibly on Valdez Trail 1898-1899. See

The Web site for the Gold Rush database indicates that there was a J. Grady of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who was recorded at Chilkoot by the Northwest Mounted Police as heading to Yukon on 30 May 1839. Web:
