The ship was the Steamer Excelsior. I found a picture of it and the mention of Warner, no first name in a book "The Copper Trail-The Copper River Expeditions os Cpt. W. R. Abercrombi." We know he went to the copper River. His friend was John Walters. They both went to Alaska from Ia. and we know John Walters returned to Ia. and reported Milo fell overboard. In the book it mentioned Warner had to hurry to get to the port as he was leaving for Seattle, which fit in with what we know. Can't think of the name of it and but beleive it was Feb 1999 that they started back. I left all my research with my sister when we moved to Israel and i am haveing to have her retreive it. Thanks loads for anything you can do. Been working on this since 1982.
