Eskimo Village Mysteriously Vanishes '30

In 1930, approximately 2000 inhabitants of an Eskimo Village in Alaska mysteriously disappeared. Food was still cooking, rifles and kayaks were still there, dogs were starved to death still tied to trees. Does anyone know what this village was called? I have been unable to find any information about it. Thank you.
