Walter died in Anchorage, but was he buried there? If he was buried there, try the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetary's website

and look up his name.
If he died in Anchorage, but maybe not buried there, contact the Anchorage Daily News. Their on-line archives only go back to the 1980's but someone there should have it on microfilm and could copy it for you - for a fee, I'm sure!
