I have found some information regarding the Alaska Hubers and their influence in the American Legion and Auxillery, and Boys and Girls State. It is on my Huber genealogy site, including surnames Froehlich, Habermann, Thissen, Kerber, Detrick, Shoenborn, Umbarger, and Shedenhelm. Please see http://community.webtv.net/charles379/cerebralhush Charles Russell Huber dropped "Charles" and was Dr. Russell Huber living in College, Alaska prior to his death.
