Bill, My grandmother Hilda Pesonen Ranta Laine came from Helsinki 1900 with my grandfather Herman Ranta and 2 of their 5 children. Herman died 1910 and Hilda married Emil Laine 1913. They had a daughter, Beulah. There are other Laine family members in the community, but I do not have their names without some research. My side of this family are in Idaho but there are connections with people in Michigan. If you have other information that might connect your Laine to my family, let me know if I can be of any help to you.
