Well good news! It turns out my great-grandfather Fred Schorer passed away quite a bit earlier, in 1941, so I'll be ordering that death record this week. I was referred to a very helpful website that I thought I'd share. It is for Anchorage Memorial Park and it has the entire burial master list available for searches by last name. (Obviously very helpful for tracing folks who died after 1950!)
