I am the great niece of a woman named Della Montgomery who worked as a school teacher at a local logging camp on Prince Edward Island Alaska in the mid-late 60s. She self-identified as Mrs. Della B.F. Montgomery. She was a Seventh-Day Adventist. At the time of her last letter in 1968, she was 65 and thinking about returning to Washington State to resume her education so she could return to teach the next year. The family lost touch with her after that.
We do know that she had a daughter named Bettie Jean who was married to a Glenn at the time of the 1968 letter. She was living somewhere in Alaska at the time.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction, I would be extremely grateful.
