Marilyn - thank you. Our Peter was supposedly a physician, but unusual times create unusual occupations for people. The first Peterson who was a ferryman doesn't seem right. But the 3rd Peterson looks interesting. Is the only place to get specific info on him in The White Pass book by Minter?
I will look for the newspaper article.
