I am looking for my Grandma's sister Carmen Howard I always told my grandmother that I would do what I could to find her long lost sister.
The story goes that she married a man I believe he was white and she moved away with him I've heard to California but she may have been some where up north. It was told to me by my grandmother that she tried coming home but her husband flew to Angoon and made her go back home with him. My Grandmother has one older living sibling Roy Bailey living here in Sitka Alaska who also said since their parents both died while they were young and were seperated and put into various homes. I am at the beginning stages of my search so if this names sounds familiar PLEASE do not hesitate to e-mail me. My grandmother's family is from Angoon Alaska they were 100% Tlingit from the Raven Beaver clan (Deisheetaan), we have a huge family waiting to hear anything on this person I am hoping that someone out their has heard her stories of her home town and hope it may ring a bell for someone. There parents were Elizabeth and Charles Bailey I know my great grandmother died in her mid 20's so please again contact me if this name rings a bell.
