There are records of a M.M. or W.F. or W.H. Warner who was killed in the big snowslide at the Chilkoot Pass on April 3, 1898. (Newspaper reports varied the names quite a bit). He is buried in the Dyea Slide Cemetery which is just west of Skagway, Alaska.
