The only Coast Guard air stations I know about are the ones at Sitka and on Kodiak Island. These are primarily for search and resque. Both stations have been there for a long time. The area the Coast Guard air stations covered are from the Alaska-Canadian border south of Ketchikan to the Bering Sea.
