Searching for (Unknown) Taube b. abt. 1874 Germany m. Elizabeth (Unknown) abt. 1894 probaby Austria. They immigrated to South Africa where children Annie b. 1895 and Peater b. 1896. Immigrated to USA between 1897 & 1904 where children Eva b. 1905 and Edyth b. 1907 Seattle, Washington.
Mr. Taube left his family in Seattle while he and a partner went to Alaska to start the Tokeen Marble Mine. He was murdered there, they think the partner did it, but nobody was ever convicted. His widow, Elizabeth and children moved to Ketchikan where she had a little corner grocery to support her family.
