Thank you for the information, it helped somewhat. As of this am, I recieved a letter she had archived in her fathers papers(found an old rootsweb posting and contacted her). A letter written by Robert Durrick from guess where! Prison at Rockview in Belefonte, Pa., have his prisoner # and some names to go forward with. he had been at Moyamensing prison. My mouth dropped to the floor when I got it. So at least I know where he was , but still nothing on a death etc. am waiting on more info to come in. Oh on the info you put here, his brothers a wallpaper hanger, a scraper, Robert writes in this letter his trade was a House Painter (fits), so his WWII lists 2 yrs of high school and was a cameraman, , but it got him into the 34th Recon division during the war, found that record to. thank you again. Kim
