I am having problems tracking family in Alaska. My dads side of the family has history up there, but I can't find anything online. The Blake Family and Tlingits: I know George married a Tlingit Indian named Eva Koonk in Wrangell Alaska on 29 Nov 1893 and he died on 19 Jan 1942. They would be my great great grandparents. The information I have lists his father was a whiteman and his mother was the oldest daughter of the Tligits Kah Kuh de Yudt and Kuh-Gunna. Eva was the daughter of Konk, born around 1877. I am assuming most of this is in the Wrangell area. The Sumption Family: The daughter of George and Eva Blake was my great grandmother Florence Blake. She was born in May of 1905. She married George Edward Sumption. I know they had a cannery and a shrimping company. I have an article about a boat named after my grandmother, Edrie. I know the companies were pretty big, but I don't know much about them, except he sold them when they moved to Anacortes, Wa after Florence died. If anyone knows anything, or has any pictures or history or really pretty much anything I would appreciate hearing from you.
