There are no Willsons in the index, and your Willson isn't in the 1901 Alaska-Yukon directory at http://www.familychronicle.com/klond_w.htm . Gold wasn't struck in the Fairbanks area until 1902, and the rush didn't occur until 1903 - the Tanana Valley is far from the area focussed on in this book in any case.
