Winfield Oler and No. 29 Eldoado Quartz mine

My gg uncle, Winfield Oler, purchased No. 29 Eldoado Quartz mine in 1896 while living in Forty Mile. He was listed on the 1920 Census, living in Circle, Alaska Territory. Later he was found on a passenger list of persons taking the Tony Trate Auto Stage on October 8, 1920, from Fairbanks, Alaska Territory, to the Chitina Railroad Terminal.

I am looking for any information on Winfield, the 29 Eldoado Quartz mine, and any other pertinent information.

Is there a place on the web where I can search mining claims in Alaska. Are death records / indexes for Alaska on line anywhere?

Thanks for you help.
