Mrs. M. E. Rash Dies in Sleep
Mrs. Margaret Emily Rash passed away quietly in her sleep yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Parmenter. She was 77 years old.
Mrs. Rash, whose home for many years has been in Poteau, Okla., came to Juneau to be with the Parmenters early this year. She had been confined to bed for about a month. Mrs. Parmenter will accompany the remains south on the Aleutian, leaving Juneau Sunday and interment will be in Poteau, Oklahoma.
Surviving are two sons, Alvin Rash of Stockton, California and Lester Rash of Poteau, Oklahoma, one daughter, Mrs. Ilah Parmenter of Juneau and seven grandchildren.
