I'm looking for information on Kyra (Hortense McDonald) Garnes who lived in Alaska sometime during the 1930's, 1940's. She was born in MO ca 1890 as Hortense McDonald. In the 1920's, she was known as an "exotic" dancer and traveled the world. She married Mr. Garnes, probably when she quit dancing. Family legend has it the Garnes lived in the Pacific northwest and Alaska. She is first cousin to my father. I do not believe she had children and I am not searching for her descendants, but wanting to find out what happened to her.
Any information greatly appreciated.
