hi,
this might be the ship- "Princess Sofia" or "Princess Sophia"- hit a reef between Haines and Skagway, floundered and sank with I believe everyone aboard. I lived there (Haines, Alaska) for a while- that's very dangerous water. I think the ship belonged to the White Star or Star Line. All this occured during the gold stampede. It should be found online since it was one of the worst maritime disasters of it's era (pre-Titanic)
