FRIEDA HENRIETTA HONEYBALL, 83, died April 26, 2002, at Alaska Regional Hospital.
At her request, no service will be held.
Mrs. Honeyball was born July 3, 1918, in Forestville, Mich., and moved to Alaska in May 1955. She was a homemaker.
Her family wrote: ''Frieda drove up the Alaska Highway with husband Ira and her two small daughters in 1955. She lived and enjoyed a basic Alaska lifestyle for many years. Fishing, hunting and berry picking to stock the freezer were enjoyable tasks to Frieda. Being a typical Alaska woman, her talents ranged from elaborate cake decorating to raising prize-winning vegetables and flowers to painting and maintenance of her home. Her family and friends will truly miss her and deeply appreciate being part of her life. She will be laid to rest beside Ira in South Carolina.''
Mrs. Honeyball is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Al Sjodin of Minnesota, and Nanette and Harold Belk of Alaska; grandsons, Rock Sjodin and Robert Sjodin of South Carolina, Ronald Sjodin of Florida, and Tyler Belk of Alaska; great-granddaughters, Amber Sjodin-Bates of Minnesota, Addie Sjodin and Lanie Sjodin of South Carolina, Sara Ann Moremen and Natalie Sjodin of Florida; great-grandsons, Nelse Sjodin, Robbie Sjodin and Ricky Sjodin of South Carolina, and Carter Moremen of Florida.
