found this in the 1900 census Alaska Name: George E Holliday Home in 1900: Chicken Creek, Northern Supervisors District, Alaska Age: 31 Estimated birth year: 1869 Birthplace: California Race: White Relationship to head-of-house: Head No other persons living with him Also I did a little reseach on the Walt Diney Dooc of the seven dwarfs...in an article about the seven dwarfs it said that when they named Doc it was after and here is a statement about it In bringing the characters to life, Walt insisted each dwarf had to have a definite personality, so work began in differentiating them by voice, gesture and name. Walt claimed he knew some domineering doctors, so they named the dwarfs’ bossy leader, Doc. They made Doc stand well back on his heels with his wrists pressed to his hips, to convey pompousness. So perhaps your Great Uncle had another trade as a doctor Also from 1880 census George HOLLIDAY Age: 11 Estimated birth year: <1869> Birthplace: California Occupation: At School Relation: Son Home in 1880: Township 1, Contra Costa, California Marital status: Single Race: White Gender: Male Head of household: Beverly HOLLIDAY Father's birthplace: KY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1880 cnesus Holliday family is as follows Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace Beverly HOLLIDAY Self M Male W 57 KY Farmer VA VA Jane HOLLIDAY Wife M Female W 49 PA Housekeeping ENG ENG C.
