Thank you very much for doing the lookup for me. Your information provided two interesting additions to my knowledge; he was in fact born in England, but apparently made a lot out if being Irish, so it's interesting that he had it thus on his census form. I also needed the date of his emigration confirmed, and your information helps there too. A problem re his birthdate though; I have it as January 1866. Many thanks for your help; if you find anything more on this interesting man, I'll be glad to hear from you. Would you mind if I cite your help in the sources to my essay?
