I'm writing a short biographyof this linguist and esperanto pioneer for the forthcoming Dictionary of Irish Biography. Can anyone help to supply and/or confirm family details? His father is said to have been a doctor. may be named Henry, Richard H. was born in Birkenhead, but had Dublin connections, which I would like to confirm. Also the importance or otherwise of his career in Alaska?
