looking for info on Kalmakoff family in kanatak in late 1800's early 1900s. My mother-in-law Tootsie Murphy was born in Cold Bay (Puale Bay) in 1919-1920 and raised as a young girl by her grandparents in Kanatak. Her mother's name was Lena (Helena?) Kalmakoff Murphy married to Timothy Murphy. We believe her mother's parents were Nicholas & Natalia Kalmakoff by have no other info. Would like to know more on the Murphy side and the history of the Kalmakoff side. Kalmakoff in the census records has been shown Kamkoff
Kolmakov and other versions
