Still searching for GEORGE FRANCIS BOWLES (b.1863 in Illinois) who settled in Nome around 1900 and lived the rest of his life there. He was married to 'Norma' but they had no family. I believe he may have been a US Marshall - in addition to being a miner. ANY information will be appreciated.
