Henry is listed in the 1900 census in Thurston Co., Washington and in 1910 in Clackamas Co., Oregon. I suspect he was back and forth in Alaska any time from March 1899 until 1905 when he remarried in Sknamis Co., Wa. He may have been there the later part of 1899 until Jan 1902, in Wash. part of 1902 and then back in Alaska from Sept. 1902 until 1905. He as a surveyor by trade. He went through a divorce in Sept-Dec 1902. It doesn't sound as if he appeared for the final ruling. Henry and Phoebe, my great grandparents, lost a 2year old son in Feb. 1899 from a discharge of a gun 3 little boys were playing with. In stead of bringing the family closer together, the family fell apart. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
