There is a Greene J. Nations in the 1920 Federal Census for Alaska. Judicial Dist. 3. Recoroder's District:Knik. Name of place: Chickaloon. 2nd district, sheet #9B. He has a wife named Georgia. It gives his age as 42. He was born in Georgia and was a blacksmith.
I have a copy of a birth certificate that lists Green Jefferson Nation as father and Molly Tyone Nations as mother. Daughter born Iowne Natiion Sept.24,1929 in Matanuska, AK.
Then he Married Annie Nicoli. Lived in Talkeetna, AK. A son Thomas was born in 1934 and a daughter Mary in 1937.
Greene's obi was in the Anchorage Daily Times Nov. 22,1939.
It said he was survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillian Wilholm of Clifton, AZ, two sons, James & Jeffries and a daughter, Annabelle.
