Hi Heather

I have already purchased that possible birth cert for Robert which is why I suspect that his mother might be Emma. I have also ordered a marriage cert for a John Aitkin and an Emma Aitkin (note sp). When that arrives I might know more. Of course it may be a wrong trail. There seems to be so much inaccuracy in various records (that is if my ancestors bothered to register their BMD!) that I dont know what to believe! Thanks for your help.
