Looking for connections to the Aitken family who operated James A. Aitken Auction House on High Street in Edinburgh from the late 1800's well into the 1900's.
I believe they would be connected to Thomas Aitken & Elizabeth Bell who married in 1789 at Falkirk Stirling.
A brother of James A. Aitken, Frank Aitken, left Edinburgh about 1910/11 and emigrated to Australia. Jim
