Requesting info for my father's side of our family tree. We believe my great grandfather's name was James Herbert Aitken born 19 March 1863 Ontario and married to a Mary Cattanach (possible nickname of Minnie). They had a son named John James Aitken (my grand father). I am trying to research their parents. The names James Aitken and Hamer Bailey of Canada has come up on great grandfather's side and John Cattanach & Catherine McDonald on great grand mother's side. But also the possible parents names of Donald Cattanach & Catherine have surfaced as well. I guess I am looking for ties for my great, great grandparents of a James Aitken and Hamer Bailey and the John or Donald Cattanach and Catherine McDonald.
