I have a James AITKEN, born in Old Monkland, son John AITKEN, b. Abt 1761, in Old Monkland, Lanark, John m. Margaret MURRAY, May 5, 1792 in Monkland, Lanark. She was b. Abt 1768 in Monkland, Lanark. Their son was James AITKEN b. May 1798 in New Monkland, Lanarksire. m. Annabella BAIRD Jun. 1825, New Monkland, Lanarkshire. She was born in 1807 in New Lanark. Their children were: John D., William, Alexander B., Margaret, Jane and Agnes AITKEN.
I am looking for the James AITKEN's wife and Father and Mother. There are a number of AITKENs in the area with the same names.
