Hi Debbie,
I don't know if I can be of any help but I have a Mary Aitken in my family tree. She was born in 1872 in Scotland. She married Montgomery Bain in 1894. The couple and all of their nine children eventually moved to Australia. If this sounds familiar I would be happy to help.
