Dear Ray
I was pleased to find your email dated March 18, 2003. I also noted the emails of Wayne Clay dated April 24, 2002. I am also linked to the John AIRD - Janet "Jean" McNAUGHT tree. I believe that he forwarded you information on the Thomas AIRD (1st child) branch. I am in the Archibald Brown (5th child) AIRD branch. Below is a summary of the information that has been gathered by myself and other researchers (family members) in Australia.

Descendants of: Thomas AIRD

Descendants Spouses
Generation 1 1 1
Generation 2 8 6
Generation 3 25 14
Generation 4 33 23
Generation 5 61 47
Generation 6 94 34
Generation 7 35 0

Totals 257 125

I have forwarded this to Wayne through Genforum and will attempt to email him separately to his email address. Hopefully it is still current. If you would like a more expanded listing I can forward a gedcom file (or similar)to your email address. Likewise if you have expanded from Wayne's email can you forward to me? Should you or any other members of the John Aird tree be interested they can respond to this email or write to me at

Looking forward to hear from my Scottish (or others) relatives.

Leigh Carlyle
