Hi Kathryn,
Thanks for writing back. My husband is from England. I was born and bred in Wisconsin so I know how bad the weather can be. This past week we had 1/2 inch of glare ice and 2 days later 10 inches of snow.
I'm going over to England in February for 2 weeks - our 1st anniversary is Valentine's Day. I don't know if I told you but he went back to England for an emergency in May and can't get back into the U.S. I've filed for a spouse visa now but it takes time.
Have you ever been to the U.K.? I've been to Scotland 3 times I think - England 6 times. My husband has cousins in Neilston, near Barhead, Paisley. We've gone to Wales too, and Spain. I like it over there. I'd never drive though YIKES.
Maybe (after my husband gets home) we could chat more and maybe meet??? We live about 30 miles southeast of LaCrosse, if you know where that is.
