Researching my husband's family, there is Humphrey Ainsworth married Elizabeth Margarison in 1778. Their children Jane, Peggy,James, Elizabeth and Ann (who married John Margison - our interest) were all christened in the 1780s at Chapel Street Independent Church, Blackburn.
