Was interested to read your response to Maxine. My Ainsworth ancestors have similar names, and I wonder if in any way, they are connected, or if you have heard of them?
Thomas Ainsworth, married at Darwen (?) around 1753, to Grace Greenhalg. Their son, Joseph, born around 1754, at Blackburn, Darwen Ind(?) married Ann ?. Their son, Moses, born around 1773 at Samisbury UK, married Theodosia Welch. Their daughter, Charlotte was born at St Peters Bolton UK in 1808.
Would you know where these (?) places are?
Look forward to hearing from you or anyone else who may be related.
