I'm interested in learning more about Thomas Ainsworth. I understand that I am descended from him through the following lineage: Dovie Marie Ainsworth (my mother), who was born in Smith Co., MS but moved to Forest, Louisiana (near Oak Grove) in 1928; her father, Abel Livingston Ainsworth, who was born in Smith Co., MS; Hasten Patrick Ainsworth, also born in Smith Co., MS; and Sampson Jefferson Ainsworth, born in SC. Sampson's father, I understand was Thomas Ainsworth, husband of Sarah Finch.
