I, too, would like information on James T. Ainsworth.

The 1870 census - Cornie Township - has the following 2 families:

Family 1: Jasper W. Cassidy, age 25, born in Alabama; Elizabeth Cassidy, age 42 (?), Mississippi; John J. Cassidy, 4, AR; Mary E. Ainsworth, 17, AR; Isaac Ainsworth, 12, AR; Matilda A. Ainsworth, 10, AR; and James T. Ainsworth, 8, AR.

Q1: Based on the ages of James T. Ainsworth (junior), born about 1862, and John J. Cassidy, born about 1866, James T. Ainsworth (senior) probably died between those 2 dates. Was his death related to the Civil War?
Q2: What are the correct ages of Jasper W. Cassidy and Elizabeth? A husband of 25 and wife 42 wasn't typical. Is there an error in the census or the transcription of the census?
Q3: Who were the parents of James T., the elder?

Family 2: David Scott, 29, born in Indiana; Nancy A. Scott, 23, Mississippi; Charity E. Scott, 3, AR; Nancy A. Scott, 1, AR; Cuniah Ainsworth, 16, AR.

The above Nancy [Jane] A. [Ainsworth] Scott, 23, and Cuniah Ainsworth, 16, were sisters. 10 years earlier, in the 1860 census, Cuniah, 6, and Elizabeth Ainsworth, 11, lived in the home of William H. Hill (50, SC) and his wife Elizabeth Hill (41, MS). I haven't yet located Nancy Jane, who would have been 13, in 1860.

Q1: Is Elizabeth also a sister of Nancy Jane and Cuniah?
Q2: How are they related to James T.?
Q3: Were the Hills related or just friends who "took in" the Ainsworth girls?
