I would certainly appreciate it if you would post your findings. It would be a big help to me and other researchers. There is definitely something "funny" about the 1870 census for Eastland County. I believe that many of the pages were damaged or destroyed. Has anyone ever written to the state archives and asked this important question? Seems like a logical thing to do.
